Biao Liang, Toronto, Canada) Zhou Zheng (Sister of Jun Zheng, Vancouver, Canada) Mingli Lin (Brother of Shenli Lin, Montreal, Canada) Mingli Lin is 43 years old. He was sentenced two years labor camp. He was arbitrarily arrested and detained for two times before he was kidnapped and sent to labor camp. The first arrest took place in December 2000. He was detained for a month and was again arrested at home in the midnight of New Year’s Eve of 2001 and was sent to a brainwashing class for over three months. He was beaten and forced to watch all kinds of defamation materials against Falun Gong. He refused to give up his belief in Falun Gong. Several days after his release from his second detention in April 2001, he was kidnapped by police when he was paying telephone bill. His wife had to search for him for days before she got to know where he was taken to and by whom. His family did not get any legal document about his arrest and sentencing to labor camp until one year later. He was sentenced to two years in labor camp. He has been captured in Dafeng Labor Camp since May 2001, where Shenli Lin who was freed with the support of Canadian government had been detained for two years. To protest the illegal arrest and incarceration, he went on hunger strike. He was force-fed with violence, which damaged his throat. Jiangang
Huang (Brother of Limin Huang, Montreal, Canada) Jiangang Huang was sentenced 18 month in labor camp. He was an electronics communication engineer in a China and Japan joint-venture company in Nanjing. He was a project team leader in the company. In December 2000, he was sentenced to one and a half year of forced labor. At the beginning of March 2001, he was sent to Dafeng Fangqian labor camp in Yancheng, Jiangsu province. Recently, Fangqiang labor camp has reported to higher office to extend his jail term and will intensify the persecution on him. Lizhi He (Husband of Li Zhang, Toronto, Canada) Lizhi He, aged 38, was sentenced for three and half year in jail. He was a senior engineer at Ministry of Construction in China. On July 21, 2000, he was illegally sentenced to three and a half year jail term because he mailed some articles about Falun Gong to his friends. He was found seriously ill when his wife was allowed to visit him after his being detained 6 months. Now he is detained in 3rd division of the Seventh Labor Farm in 106-9 Division, new Qianjin Prison,Chadianzhan,Jingshanxian,Tianjin.Zipcode300481. Before he was arrested in July 2000, he already got the landing paper issued by the Canadian Immigration Bureau (W922532004). Before he was arrested, he was in charge of various projects including drawing out test paper and examining the National Qualification Registration of Structural Engineering. He obtained more than 10 nationwide awards due to her outstanding contribution. The latest award he obtained is Gold Medal Prize for National Outstanding Engineering Design by Ministry of Construction. Xiuzhen
Lu (Mother of Li Bo, Toronto, Canada)
Xiuzhen Lu, aged 58, was sentenced to two years jail term. She was a retired teacher in China. She was arrested in July 2000 for the first time and detained for over two months in local camp when she was attempting to go to Beijing to appeal. Now she is detained in Masanjia labor camp in Shenyang city, Liaoning province, which is one of the most notorious labor camp in China where 18 female practitioner were stripped off and thrown to male prisoners’ cell in Oct 2000. In her over 30 years of teaching , she received numerous awards for being a model ,diligent teacher and she was highly praised and respected by all her students and colleagues. She was sentenced to two years jail term in November 2001 for distributing Falun Gong truth-telling materials. Zhaojin Qiu
(Husband of Yanying Wang, Toronto, Canada) Zhaojin Qiu, age 59, was sentenced to three years in labor camp. He was a chief artist editor in Jinan’s volks’ paper. His first arrest and detention happened in July 1999. He was severely beaten and was electric shocked. His home was ransacked and most valuable things were take away. He was released a month later. On October 1, 2000, he was arrested because he went to Tiananmen Square to unfold the banners. Several days later, he was sent to labor-camp by the police branch-station and was sentenced to 3 year in labor camp without trial. Afterwards that he was sent to Wang Cun, Zibo, Shangdong Province. This is the same labor camp as where professor Kunlun Zhang had been detained. (Professor Zhang is Canadian citizen and has been rescued to Canada.) During this period of time, the policemen did not allow him to sleep, and used all means to force him to give-up his belief. He was transferred to LiuChangSan labor camp later. Bo
Qiu (Son of Yanying Wang, Toronto,Canada) Bo Qiu, aged 27, was sentenced to 3 years in labor camp. He was an assistant photographer in a Jinan local newspaper. He is the son of zhaojin Qiu. On October 1, 2000, he and his father went to Beijing. He was arrested when he came back home. He was sentenced to 3 year term in Liuchangshan Labour Camp, Shandong Province. Yueli Yang
(Mother of Zhendong Yang, Toronto, Canada) Yueli Yang, aged 62, was sentenced to 18 month in labor camp.
She was a retired senior engineer. She was arrested on December 7, 2001 in the passport while she was applying
passport in order to visit her son in Canada. The officer there asked her to denounce Falun Gong, but got her
rejection. She was then arrested and detained. Her home was ransacked right afterwards. She refused to give up Falun
Gong during detention. She had gone through 8 days hunger strike after being detained.
On January 17, 2002, she was sent to labor camp for a 18 month term. Nobody has been allowed to visit her,
not a phone call or allow delivery of any toiletries, clean clothes or hygienic items to her. She
had been detained in the 2nd division of Tuan He Labor
camp, Da Xing County in Beijing 102614 (Tel 86-10-61292950 Mr. Zhang Jingsheng and Tel :010-61294586 leader).
On March 28, she was transferred to Xinan women labor camp in Beijing. (Tel

Canada) Tianxiong Peng, female
aged 29 is the twin sister of Tianying Peng. She was taken away by
police and her family does not know where she is since April 2002. In July 2000, she was taken away from home and
was detained in a place being monitored 24 hours simply for distributing the truth-clarifying
material about Falun Gong. At that time her baby was only 4 months old and she was not allowed to go back
home to take care of her. In April 2002, She was taken away from home and has not returned since then. Nobody knows where she is. Zhanzhong
Wu and Yanying
Wu ( Brother and sister of Yanxia Wu, Toronto ,Canada) Zhanzhong Wu, 36, and Yanying Wu, 42, were both sentenced to 2 years in labour camp in January 2001, because they told others the truth about Falun Dafa. For 9 months, nobody knew what happened to them and family visit was not allowed. After great efforts were made, their family finally found out their whereabouts and got to know that they were all sentenced to 2 years in labour camp and they were sent to the Qi county labor camp in Tianjin. They both suffered torture and other brutal treatments. Zhanzhong Wu is now being detained at Shuangkou labor camp in Beichen district, Tianjin. Yanying Wu is detained at Jianxin labor camp in Nankai district. Xiuchao Huang, (Mother of Biao Liang,
Toronto, Canada) Xiuchao Huang, female, aged 66, was sentenced to four
years in jail. In January 2002, she was arrested because she told others that “Falun Dafa is good” and
distributed truth-clarification materials about Falun Gong. She was later sentenced to 4 years jail term. Yangtao
Jin, (Nephew of Jinan Liu, Toronto, Canada) Yangtao Jin, male, aged 24, graduated from Liao Ning Industry University last year. He was arrested March, 2002 when he was distributing Falun Gong truth-clarification material. Nobody knows what has happened to him ever since. Zhou Zheng (Sister of Jun Zheng, Vancouver, Canada) Zhou
Zheng, female, aged 51, was sentenced for 18 month in labor camp. She was an Engineer in China. She was taken away
from home in October 2001. No news could beobtained about her at all as where about she was held etc. Until February
2002, her sister from Canada went back to Beijing and looked for her for a month. Finally, she was located at the
"Tian Tang He labor Camp" in Beijing. She was sentenced for 18 month in labor camp without trial. |
