Happy Birthday to us! WOW is 4 on June 13 and we're celebrating all summer long!
I hope you all celebrate because as we all know, it's your birthday too! For the sake of anyone new on this site reading this, I will explain: WOW belongs to everyone, and is the ONE place on the net where people actually do have the right and power to act as if the site was their very own. We have millions of eyes around the world making sure that WOW Zone remains a place to Wish ONLY Well.
This is one of the reasons you don't see many banners on the site. Although exchanging banners is a good way to get people to your site, it can also create problems. We were on a Literary banner exchange program a while back and one of our readers alerted me to the rotating banners, which had content we don't wish to promote. Immediate action was taken and those banners were no more.
WOW is a giant think tank of minds from all over the world. There are countless treasures in our site, contributed by everyday people like you and me, who are doing extraordinary things.
Consider this: in 4 years, WOW Zone is among the most visited sites on the internet. We rank in the top 38,000 websites in popularity out of...get this...over 1 BILLION web pages. You spread the word and actually use WOW in your life every day.
There are many projects in the works, all tremendously exciting. Ideas are coming in fast and furious...you're all so creative! Thank you for the tremendous feedback and participation!
